Roger Cabello is a photographer who was born in Lima, Peru in 1963.
He moved to Queens, New York at the age of 14 and graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in 1985.
He began his career in 1988 with GQ magazine and was published in Vogue in 1989. Roger worked for Vogue for five years, mainly shooting accessories.
In 2000, he commenced his role as the primary cosmetic photographer for Allure magazine and continued in that position for 15 years. Throughout this period, he developed the cosmetic compositions that prioritize texture, form, and pigment, which have become widely adopted in the industry today.
In addition to his work at Allure, Roger has editorial experience worldwide, having worked with publications such as China Vogue, Allure Russia, and Vogue India, among others. He has also collaborated with major beauty brands including Estée Lauder, Clinique, Bobbi Brown, Michael Kors, and many more.
Currently, Roger Cabello is accepting photographic assignments and has also released a set of limited edition prints. He is also working on the production of a gallery show in Lima, Peru, scheduled for 2024. Additionally, he is actively focused on developing new motion work.
